Licensing Options for Educators Providing faculty and students with advanced software tools is critical to the success of any academic program that uses imagery or visualizes data.  This is why Exelis Visual Information Solutions offers a variety of licensing options to meet the needs and budgets of 4 year colleges, community colleges, and primary/secondary institutions (K-12).  All academic software from Exelis Visual Information Solutions is the same as the FULL commercial products we sell.

Exelis Visual Information Solutions offers flexible and affordable licensing for teaching purposes, funded non-commercial research projects, and students:

Teacher Licenses

Perpetual and one year term license agreements are available for labs, mini labs, department-wide, and campus-wide use.  Software must be purchased for teaching purposes by an academic institution, and run on hardware owned by the same institution. 

Researcher Licenses

Perpetual licensing for funded, non-commercial research projects, are available.  Software must be purchased by the academic institution and run on hardware owned by the same institution.

Student Licenses

One year term license agreements are available for your students.  These licenses are for student use only and must be purchased by the student using his or her personal funds. For more information, visit the student licensing page.
