THESE LIMITATIONS WILL APPLY EVEN IF Exelis VISUAL INFORMATION SOLUTIONS, THE Exelis VISUAL INFORMATION SOLUTIONS AFFILIATED COMPANIES, THEIR LICENSORS AND/OR THEIR AGENTS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF SUCH POSSIBLE DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS, STATES OR PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THIS LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY. USE OF THE Exelis VISUAL INFORMATION SOLUTIONS PRODUCTS IS SUBJECT TO THE TERMS OF THE END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT OR OTHER APPLICABLE AGREEMENTS FOR SUCH PRODUCT/SERVICE. IN THE EVENT OF A CONFLICT BETWEEN SUCH AGREEMENTS AND THESE PROVISIONS THE RELEVANT AGREEMENTS SHALL CONTROL.
Export Classification
The following is a list of Exelis Visual Information Solutions software products and the corresponding License Exceptions and Export Classification Control Numbers. This matrix is not intended to replace the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), but to be used in conjunction with the EAR to assist you in the export of Exelis VIS products.
You are responsible for exporting Exelis Visual Information Solutions products in accordance with the EAR and any written agreement(s) with Exelis Visual Information Solutions. The mere fact that a product is listed on Exelis Visual Information Solutions Product Matrix as being eligible for export under No License Required or under a License Exception does not mean that all exports of that product may actually be effected under that authority. Other factors, such as the end-user, end-use, and country of ultimate destination may affect the export licensing requirements. You are urged to consult the EAR and other appropriate sources before exporting Exelis Visual Information Solutions products from the United States.

Terms Used in Product Matrix

Export Control Classification Number assigned by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) in the Commerce Control List (CCL). This is the fundamental designation indicating the level of control for an item.

CCATS: Commodity Classification Automated Tracking System. This is the code number assigned by BIS to products that it has classified against the CCL. Exelis Visual Information Solutions provides the CCATS number when applicable. We provide the CCATS because some encryption exports require post-shipment reporting to BIS and the CCATS information will assist with the reporting requirements, if required.
