Identify Materials

Targets such as vehicles, disturbed terrain, or camouflaged objects that are not always visible to the naked eye can be detected with ENVI products using spectral information. After targets have been detected, the Spectral Analyst tools can help you identify what materials they represent, by matching them to spectra of known materials.

The Spectral Analyst tools can work with the extensive libraries of spectra provided with ENVI products, or with your own spectral libraries. In addition, it provides proven, pre-defined matching algorithms, as well as the ability for you to implement your own.
